1992 FERRARI MONDIAL CABRIOLET.
Lombardi Signature is pleased to present one of the final examples of Ferraris Mondial Cabriolet. This car is featured in Rossa Corsa Red with Tan leather and Black convertible top.The Mondial is the final evolution of the model. It is visually different from preceding Mondial models, the most recognizable being the redesign of the air intakes to smaller, neater rectangular shape. The door-handles are of visually different design and, along with the bumpers, are body colored, while painted black band was added around the bottom of the body. The 'T' designation calls attention to the car's new engine/transmission layout: the previously-transverse engine was now mounted longitudinally whilst the gearbox remained transverse, thus forming 'T'. By adopting this layout, longer engine could be mounted lower in the chassis, improving handling dramatically. The transverse gearbox is fitted with Limited Slip Differential with twin-plate clutch design with beveled gears driving the wheels. The engine is up to 3.4 and 296 hp. The engine is controlled by Bosch Motronic electronic engine management that integrated EFI and ignition control into single computer unit. Engine lubrication is upgraded to dry-sump system. The "T" brings other Ferrari firsts, such as power assisted steering, and has 3-position electronically controlled suspension for variable trade off between ride quality and road holding.The Ferrari V8 3.4L 296HP.5-speed manual. Tires front 205/55ZR16, rear 225/55ZR16. Four seats, rear mid-engined and full convertible.
