I’ve owned this M3 since 2015 and have only put about 12k mi on it since. It has spent the rest of the time in my garage. The car is all stock, never been wrecked, always kept clean and polished. The interior is in great shape with no cracks in leather.
I don’t need to explain how great the E46 M3 is, if you’re looking you hopefully already know but if not look it up and you find this is one of the best M3’s ever made and for the money you’re getting an incredible performing sports car.It boasts 322 HP naturally aspirated, 3.2 liter inline 6, S54 engine that redlines at 8200 RPM! speed manual transmission not the clunky, faulty SMG. All stock. Never been raced or modified or on the track, although it belongs on one. I’ve done all my own maintenance, annual oil change with Castrol 10w60 from the dealer. have log of all maintenance done since I’ve owned it which has been basic aside from replacing the water pump, thermostat, and fan clutch. Radiator is in great shape btw. I’ve had certified BMW technician inspect the vehicle several times at my residence, he was friend of mine. The Vanos is non issue as well as potential sub frame cracking. It has been inspected anyway and there is no crack or hint as they resolved that problem with the 2005. The car starts flawlessly, runs and drives excellent with no mechanical issues. There are some cosmetic blemishes from door dings and one 4-5” long dent on the driver side door you can see in the picture, but overall the paint is in great shape. Fresh detail inside and out. The convertible motor works perfectly but the “dog ears” that fold in when you close the top are broken. Very poor, cheap design but not hard to fix just didn’t get around to it. The car although not perfect is in very good shape for its age. This car is simply amazing and hate to let it go but live on Kauai and it’s not practical to own that car here, couldn’t drive it like it should be driven with low speed limits, bumpy roads and lots of dirt and corrosion.I just couldn’t do that to this beautiful machine. It’s located in Orem, UT. shipped it from Hawaii and had my dad drive it to UT from CA, it’s been covered in his garage since.
