Chevrolet introduced the compact Corvair in 1960 thanks to the public??™s interest in economy imports. It was radical car by American standards ??“ rear-mounted, air-cooled six-cylinder engine and four-wheel independent suspension ??“ among the many unusual features. Power is supplied by 164-cid horizontally-opposed and air-cooled six-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 150-hp while mated to four-speed manual transmission.
Wearing an Ermine White exterior over red vinyl interior, it is equipped with an AM radio and wire wheel covers with spinner centers.
