Factory equipped with:  Air conditioning!  Power windows!!  6 way power seats!!!
Factory soft butternut yellow in colour.  Very high quality repaint over 20 years ago on perfectly rust free original car.  Driven very seldom since.
Upgrades:   Engine rebuilt nearly 20 years ago (very little usage since). Several performance upgrades such as slightly larger camshaft (nice rumbly idle).  Great performance.Silver ceramic coated headers.Full Flowmaster exhaust.   Old 2-Speed Powerglide transmission replaced with new Turbo 400.   All new braking system with old drum brakes upgraded to disc.  Factory Big Block 396 powered car.  So more fun to drive than the 283 powered, and other small block cars... SO MUCH more fun!  Better on the highway, better from the lights.  It's entirely more enjoyable, and far more visceral.  The feel, the sound....  could never imagine being bothered with another small engine Impala.  We've enjoyed this car thoroughly.  It is one of the best driver's I've ever had.  can't say enough good things about it.  It's one of those "keeper" cars that is such no-excuses sweetheart.  never expected to sell it like this but, something I've wanted for very long time, has just come available. 
CONDITION:Everything new on the car was done quite some time ago.  It has fared very well.  Both the body and mechanical components were done to very high degree.  The car has always been carefully washed with plenty of soap, and has no "swirl" marks in the finish, and very few imperfections.  This is 100% original metal car that has never-ever-never-ever-never had any rust.  Be very leery about other people's restorations!  would expect that this will be worry free car for very long time, requiring only washes, waxes, and returning plenty of smiles in exchange.  Only weekend tinkering feel that someone may be inclined to do would be to replace the tail light lenses.  They are in decent shape but, appear somewhat aged if you are looking from very close (I'm being very picky here).  Also, the upholstery is all original, and cracking/splitting from the seams.  You'll probably want to order an original style seat cover kit from Original Parts Group.  To be on the safe side (very safe side), I'll describe it as 1/10.  When we originally purchased the car, the mileage was said to be 52,000 original.  It currently reads 59,000.  There's chance this is correct but, cannot guarantee this as being original so, let's please play on the safe side again and assume that it is more.  This is great and reliable, and very fun car that hope goes to an appreciative new home.  think you'll be very happy.
