As much as hate to do it, I've got to part ways with little Scarlet.  She's been great car the last three years and we've had some fun adventures.  But, time marches on, just bought new Mustang and don't need seven cars.  Please give Scarlet new home where she will be cherished and appreciated.

Scarlet is a:
1987 Chrysler (Dodge) Daytona Shelby   (up here in Canada, they were badged as Chryslers.)
#'s Matching 2.2 Turbo II Intercooled  (original Motor!)
#'s Matching speed Manual(original Getrag Trans!)
Grey Cloth interior with Enthusiast Drivers Seat  (in very good to near-mint shape!)
Standard Dash with 12-button Navigator (restored with new buttons and working properly!)

The Good:
Spent most of her life in Utah, in covered garage as second car and rarely used.  Brought home to Canada and stored in heated garage from 2008 to 2013.
Low Mileagefor her age. 193,000kms is approximately 121,000 miles.
Good Glass
Very Nice Interior
T-top!
Rust Free!
Restored Wheels and New Tires!
Emergency Brake actually works!

Tons of money recently sunk into the car:
Cometic Head Gasket and ARP Head Studs
New Water Pump, Radiator and Hoses
New Timing Belt
New Lash adjusters and cam followers
New Alternator
Brake Job: Calipers, Pads Rotors& Master Cylinder
4-wheel Alignment with paperwork
New Rear Shocks
New Drive Axles
Completely rebuilt front end: Ball Joints, Struts, Strut bearings, Tie Rods.
Polyurethane Sway bar bushings and Poly Bobble Strut.
New Engine/Trans Mounts.
Power Windows Work and the hatch stays up on it's own!
Gauge Cluster updated with Green LED's

The Bad:
Passenger side T-top has slight leak.
Dome Lights/Vanity Mirror Lights do not work. But Cargo light still does. Never did figure this out.
Power Mirrors only work in three directions.  One more cleaning of the button internals should fix that up.
Air Conditioning is Inoperative.  However, I'm sure with new condenser, new compressor and some hoses it would probably work again. Parts are available on Rockauto for very reasonable price.

Included with the car are some select parts that I've collected.  correct AM/FM/Cassette Stereo, new in box fuel pump (The only part have not changed on the car), the previously mentioned mirror control, spare gauge cluster, spare mirror shell, some other good weatherstripping and miscellaneous other parts that can't recall right now.

The Engine runs like champ. Lots of power for what it is. Shifts nicely, Drives perfectly. wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere.  These cars have had bit of cult following but are now starting to reach collector status and some prime examples are bringing some serious collector-car money!  Here's an opportunity get in on the ground floor and take mechanically solid and reliable car, maybe invest in some paint and body work and have one fine example of collectible Turbo Dodge!  Add in the fact that it's rare, Canadian example of the breed; being badged as Chrysler and having metric speedometer, makes it that much more intriguing.

If you're from the U.S. and are curious about taking car South of the Border, good news! It's very easy!  I'm also only 25 minutes from the border.

***EDIT*** Some pictures show peeling clearcoat on the passenger door.  This has since been repaired.  Since the clearcoat was coming off in sheets, is was easy to peel off, clean the paint and re-apply clearcoat. It looks much, much better now.
