This is mini expedition vehicle.  Everything about this vehicle was set up to go camping/exploring off-grid.  Mechanically and ascetically sound.  
Just returned from an off-grid adventure in Newfoundland, Canada.It's out of my system now, this Jeep is complete and now want to move on to another adventure vehicle project.

The diesel engine top end was overhauled including timing belt, serpentine belt, 16 rockers (@ 185,000kms).  Just last week there was new alternator and new battery installed.  There is also an auxiliary battery installed behind the passenger seat.  This is also where the new 1500W inverter and new 50W solar panel/regulator live.  Also behind the passenger seat is the 12VDC air compressor with gal tank and double air lines for airing up tires quickly.
The rooftop tent is also new (used trips) it is the Sandpiper by Wild Coast Tents.  It comes with an annex which has rubber floor and dual doors.  An awesome tent!The tent is sitting on custom aluminum roof rack.  The front supports also provide protection for the "A" pillars and there is an aluminum ladder built into both sides to assist with tent setup.  The tent comes with it's own built in ladder.
There are also brush sweepers.  These are the stainless steel lines leading from the hood to the roof rack.  More protection in tight quarters.
The suspension has been completely upgraded with Old Man Emu, springs, shocks.  New front arms and new rear arm.  Also has AirLift bags installed in rear springs.
The interior is original up front but has been modified in the back.  Rear seats have been removed to allow space for the expedition organizer.  Within the organizer there is very large six day cooler with 12VDC Koolatron kit installed.  This is on slick roller/slider system for convenience.  The organizer also has shelves for storage bins and water jugs.
The tailgate galley is custom built for this vehicle and has many convenience features such as high quality butane stove, dish and cutlery storage and pockets for other galley needs.  All the interior modifications are made with aluminum and high density polyethylene for longevity and maintenance free living.  
There is an awning off the back to provide protection from rain/sun while you are in the galley.  Awning is mounted and stored ready for use in vinyl pouch with velcro.
LED light bar up front and LED work lights on the rear.  There are also LED work lights for the interior and tailgate galley.  Must be seen!
There is also one year old 8500lb SuperWinch on the front and recovery points both forward and aft.
New CB radio and antenna.
Both front seats have Smittybuilt seat covers with molle storage system
There is custom 1/4" aluminum skid plate running from front to back underneath.
There are custom rock sliders installed and colour coded with the wheels.
The spare tire also accommodates custom attachment for various accessories such as fuel storage and bike rack.
Note: all the modifications to the interior can be reversed and the original rear seats reinstalled.
The Jeep sits on 17" Aluminum Jeep wheels with BFG Mud Terrain tires.  Two are new and two are less than half worn.
and on and on..too much to list it all.  I'll never get my money back out of it but it was labour of love.
