Jake's Speed Shop on Bienville St. in New Orleans. Big time old school 1960's speed shop. 
Survived into the early eighties but time caught up.
Jake Howard owner of Jake's Speed Equipment in New Orleans, was my mentor for all my racing from 1957 through 66. He took me under his wing and shared his vast racing experience and knowledge with me. It was Jake who convinced me in the late 1950's, to make the automobile service business my life long career. He taught me that you should always do everything the best you can and better than you did the last time!
Jake said that it was important to detail and present your race car like show car. He pointed out that you can't win all the races. What you take home from those races you lose, is pride in the fact that your car was known as one of the best looking race cars there! That is TRUE!

RARE Authentic Vintage 1965-66 time period Sun Faded Jake's Speed Equipment sticker is in the back window of car.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL- 1965 Plymouth Satellite- Pro Street S.S.  Super Stock - 
Now  NSS -Nostalgia Super Stock Drag Car-with updated parts- as needed .
 Originally  from Louisiana, then bought to Canada from South Carolina, USA.
 Originally 361 cu. in. car- Now Sports 1965 440,  would fit Hemi.
Perfect mechanicals perfect body- 100% Turn Key Drive 
High oil pressure-does not blow any smoke, no leaks, started regularly.
 Was drag car, but could be put back on the road as have the Ontario, Canada ownership for the car.
Has turn indicator on steering column, wiring harness.
 Needs  side rear view mirror,  wiper blades,  tread rear tires, and mufflers, to make street legal. 
 Car is std steering and brakes, 440 has Solid cam aprox 525 hp.
Has pro form 850cfm/w 2" spacer, Eldebrock -Victor 440 Intake.
 Taylor wires, 2" headman headers.
 MSD billet dist/w 6al MSD.
 Moroso water pump drive core rad.
 Trans cooler and Deep B&m pan.
727 auto with 3500 stall. Reverse manual valve body, sfi plate etc.
Line Lock, adjustable monster tack gauges etc.
 Moroso switch panel, B&M Quick silver shifter, 9" diff has 4.56 gears case alum pinion, mark Williams axles, 1/2 studs f&back.
 Weld wheels with 29.5x11.5 15s These are wide.
 Car has metal Mini tubs.
 Fuel cell, Holley pump.
 Body and frame is 100% -rust free . 
Car is stored in heated garage-never seen rain.
 Show car potential.
Fiberglass Hood and front  bumper. 
Drag shocks. 
Has wheel disk brakes.
