I've driven this car less than 80 milesin the last decade, so it's time to sell and move on to something elseI'll actually use. bought this 1969 Sport Satellite Convertible in theyear 2000 with about 41,000 miles showing on the odometer, which is believed to be original. I've read that 818 Sport SatelliteConvertibles were built, with about 188 saddled with 383 V8 engine of somesort. The rest were 318 cars. This is 383 2BBL car that, for reasons of sheervanity, one can presume, has been switched to BBL with an EdelbrockPerformer intake.

The car is generally in great shape, but it has lived hilariously sedentarylife and needs to be driven and tended to on more regular basis to beconsidered real car and not mere taker-upper of garage space.

ENGINE: Rebuilt top to bottom in 2004 with forged pistons and Comp 260cam. run it up to temp every couple of months for shits and giggles.Runs great. Recent oil change. New dual exhaust was installed at the timeof rebuild. Trans is three-speed auto which has not been touched sinceI've had the car. Works fine. Engine build cost me about $5,500 when itwas done. New gas tank, Pertronix electronic ignition, aluminum waterpump.

BODY: Painted the correct yellow in basecoat-clearcoat at cost of about$7,500. Body is solid with original floors, quarter panels and trunkdrops.  have new lower moldings and the installation clips, but Ijust haven't gotten around to that yet. guess need more than 14 yearsto get it done.

INTERIOR: The fender tag indicates this car came with bucket seats, but ithad bench when got it, so went with it. Scratch-built leather seatcoverings with new foam with new carpets and door panels, etc. Classy andsmells like sweet cow porn in there. Total cost of about $7,200.

WHEELS/TIRES: New chrome Magnum 500s, 15x7, with new redlines. Driven about34 feet since installed.

BRAKES: New Master Power front disk conversion, drums at the rear.

SUSPENSION: About seven years ago, hoping to rekindle my relationship withthe car, kind of wanted to 'restomod' it (lower, big wheels), so addedMagnumforce Racing tubular upper control arms. Never went any further. Somuch for that. Added KYB shocks. Stock leafs out back.

TOP OPERATION: Works great.

CRAP TO FIX: noticed that the power-steering pump is leaking, so thatwill need tending to. It needs the rear fender-lip moldings.

PAYMENT: Yes, take payments. Of course do. Money works as does certifiedcheck and wire transfer. To hell with Paypal. $500 is due at auction'sclose with the balance due within seven working days.

DELIVERY: Send truck, or pick it up with truck. You could drive it, but it's best not to drive 50-year-old car that you're not familiar with for long distances (without tools and chase car). Clearly,I can hold the car for reasonable amount of time while you arrange fortransport. Message me to discuss if you have unusually weird needs in thisregard.

Thanks for reading and good luck.
