Gorgeous 1971 Pontiac (TRUE) GTO Convertible. Rare of 661. Body and drive train have been completely restored. Frame off rotisserie restoration. Rebuilt 71 (96) heads 400 (not #'s matching), 9.5:1 compression mild cam, Rebuilt turbo 400. This car was in very good condition prior to restoration. Entire Body Painted the factory Cardinal Red Color (Base Clear) in pieces then assembled. Been in garages for at least 20 years during this restoration. Probably $50,000 invested so far. Needs final assembly, all metal and paint work completed, door panels are just set in place not bolted, power windows go up and down and windows have been aligned and new rubber and felt, new front windshield (needs wiring completed, interior needs work and assembly, convertible roof material installed (do not have), needs gas tank installed (new tank, and new straps included) and various other items (have most parts). All difficult and expensive work has been completed would take very little time and money to finish. It is also equipped with options like, power steering, power brakes, (front disc) power windows, bucket seats, center console, power convertible top, and much more. This rare find has straight all metal body. Have all PMD documentation along with copy of original build sheet. Hate to sell but have to. Buyer responsible for shipping but can help load.
