This 1973 455 Pontiac Trans Am was built to turn gas intoroar, and is perhaps second only to its bigger brother, the 455 Super Duty interms of value and rarity. Handsomely re- finished in well prepared original colorcode correct Buccaneer Red with well kept black interior, this very well caredfor 455 features: non-original YW 1974 455cid 4X head engine with fewer than 4,000miles since professional rebuild. Within the last few years and driven lessthan 1000 miles: the automatic transmission was professionally rebuilt,a new factory re-production 2.5???dual exhaust was installed, new body mounts, new brakes, new shocks,  and muchmore. The interior was removed to inspect what lay behind the upholstery, andlike the entire car the metal is all as good as new with the originalinsulation in-tacked. New floor sound insulation was applied before theoriginal interior was re-installed.CAR HISTORY: The car waspurchased new by dealer in LA, than purchased in 1995 by the second owner from HuntingtonIN where the car was barn kept for most of its time up until short time beforeI purchased it in 2008.
