HISTORIC 1980 ROLLS ROYCE SILVERWRAITH IISelling entire turn key (private car for hire) year business. All branding, custom designed logos, active website, all existing client and information files, and 100's of picture images are included in sale (with car).CAR SPECIFICSSilver Wraith II 4-door saloon. North America left handdrive. very rare model of Silver Wraith II. Manufactured inmid-December, 1980 in Crewe, Cheshire, England. The lowest chassis number onthe entire production of the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II model was 30083(January, 1977). The highest chassis number produced was 41648 (late December,1980). The V.I.N. on this car is LRL-41641. This number indicates that of the2,132 (or so) motorcars produced of this model by Rolls Royce during thisperiod, only SEVEN additional Silver Wraith II's were manufactured AFTER thiscar, making this is one of the very last of it’s kind ever built. As result,the car incorporates all of the small design improvements developed by RollsRoyce up to this period, and prior to the discontinuation of this model up tothe end of 1980. This car truly is “the best of the last”!Extendedwheelbase version of the popular Silver Shadow II. Car length: 207.5” (17’ 3”). Width 71”.Height: 59.75” (4’ 11 ¾”). Wheelbase: 124” (10’ 4”). The Silver WraithII was considered the top-of-the-line for Rolls-Royce during this time. Exterior color is porcelain white with Blue piping along chromestrip. Inside door sills and jams are clean and tidy, and have beenretouched by owner. Back seating area is 4” longerthan the non-long wheel based model, providing noticeable increase in rearpassenger space and comfort. Used by current owner as bridal and wedding carthe last seasons. Stored in heated climatecontrolled all brick facility with full concrete floor,(with car covered when not in use). Freed from the perils ofharsh weather and snow. Under carriage is very clean! Seems to have been wellmaintained and serviced by owners (3). Owner #1 was from Texas. Owner #2 fromFlorida. Owner #3 is seller. Wraith II comes with its original jack, andowner’s operating manual. This Wraith has rich and complementary Navy blue leatherinterior. Light ‘amber’ burled walnut wood paneling are original and have neverbeen redone, and displays lovely grain throughout. Thewood presents nicely on the back doors, and looks like new. Front diver sidedoor has part of the veneer on far right side broken off (though we have thepieces). Front passenger door wood has small crack on left side, otherwisegreat condition. We do not, however, think it warrants redoing but this issubjective. EXTERIOR: White Everflexvinyl top (exclusive to Silver Wraith II’s), presents well but with someage blemishes across the top of the front windscreen, and roof blemish. With hand-painted fine lines to the waist-rails finished incontrasting Blue to match car interior color. All glass,chrome and bright work are excellent. Mid-tinted windows all round giving her avery formal look. Small rear ‘opera window’, and Corniche wheel covers. All lights, instruments, features and functions are in workingorder, with all bulbs and lamps replaced and operating as they should. Power antennanot in working order (wiring needs looked into). Clock not working (also tocheck wiring). The body is straight and the paint is shiny and lustrous (as youcan see from the attached pictures). Overall shiny and crisp and presents verynicely, certainly well above average for motorcar closing in on 40 years ofage! To best of seller’s knowledge, this car was never winter driven, so nosalt corrosion. Rack-and-Pinion power steering. Disk brakes. Brake pumps, accumulators, valves calipers and pads have been fullyinspected. Brake hoses lines havebeen replaced with new on back wheels, system pressure tested and bled. The whitewall Tempa Esquire AS 75-R15radial tyres are in very good condition with plenty of tread. Shiny, aluminum hub caps are same as used on Corniche, and areexcellent with no dents or imperfections. The “slow window” syndrome, typicalof the model have been repaired with new chains on left side, with window motorscleaned and oiled.INTERIOR: The leather seatingis in excellent condition without any notable marks or blemishes or tears. Finished in Wedgewood Blue throughout, including carpets and over rugs.  The original dash is good with top sun damage, now covered with amatching Navy blue cover to prevent additional erosion from sun. The rear window parcel shelf has been replaced and is new. Head lining (mid-beige) is originaland in super clean condition with no water staining or marks. Ashtrays present in “never used”condition. Non-smoking car. The odometer shows littleunder 20,000 miles (not kilometers), and, although not verifiable with actualpaperwork, it is apparent by the overall condition of the car that it iscommensurate with the car’s condition. During its 37+ year life span, the carwas driven LESS than 45 miles per month! Original Blaupunkt push button radio.Wood interior back window trim normally found on these cars, needs replaced.Power front drivers and passenger seats, windows, door locks all in workingorder. Comes with original owner’soperating manual included, along with all repair and parts receipts in place onany work commissioned under current owner. ENGINE COMPARTMENT Rear wheel drive. Engine: 6.75 Rolls Royce V-8. 3-speed automatic. Stability control, self levelling all-independent suspension. Non-fuel injection (2 SU carbs). Under the hood, the presentation has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. Brake and hydraulics reservoir has been taken apart, thoroughly cleaned, with fluids replaced with original RR-363 brake fluid. New replaced oil filter. New fuel pump filter. New diehard commercial battery. Climate control has been fully inspected (have receipts) with complete A/C unit, compressor and custom made A/C hoses replaced new, the heater nice and warm, with the upper/lower air conditioning blowing cold. Rolls Royce Ballast resistor unit replaced and is new. New ignition module and coil. Steering lower ball joints replaced new. Hose clamps replaced. Brake hoses, front subframe replaced new. New termostat and sender coolant temp. Re-built alternator. Radiator taken apart, totally cleaned and flushed and repositioned.
