Excellent restoration or rat rod candidate. Very little rust and only 44 000 original miles. This little Stude has been parked since 1968 awaiting it's resurrection. Sadly, I'm not the guy to do that as have way too many projects right now.
One of only 8313 Champion Deluxe drs built in 1957 and there can't be too many left. This car is blank canvas to make truly unique rod or restore it back to original. It has 185 cid flathead that's stuck and missing the cylinder head. Transmission is on the tree with optional overdrive. Brakes don't work, but the wheels turn and the tires hold air.
Given the condition of the interior and the lack of wear on the pedals, don't doubt that the odometer hasn't turned over. That being said, the seats are dry-rotted from sitting in the sun for the last half century. Glass is complete and in good condition. This Canadian built car came equipped with rubber floor mats and heater but no radio, the original buyer was frugal but practical.
