Selling beloved 1967 Volvo 123GT assembled at the long-gone Canadian Volvo plant. Those who know, know what this car is.  These are the rarest of Amazons, 122 bodies on P1800 running gear (estimates only 1500 produced). This car has been respectfully maintained and restored over the years, with full restoration in engine rebuild 10 years ago.  This car is reliable. This is car is beautiful.  Not concours perfection, because this beauty was driven 38k in the last ten years. How many 60's sports cars could you say you'd drive from New York to Florida without problem?  That's classic Volvo.  Enjoy it, take care of it.  Watch it appreciate.  This care is genuine 123GT listed on international 123GT Registry (last picture).
Originality/Correctness: Car is nearly completely correct with proper GT mirror, badging, electrical, interior, etc.  All parts that needed to be replaced were replaced with Swedish OEM parts- For you nit-pickers, the Canadian assembled cars did come with the Euro-spec wing mounted mirrors or fog and spot lights- Bumper over-riders and original clear/yellow turn signal lenses will come with the car.- Mild (and reversible) customizations are:  aftermarket yellow fog lightsand oil pressure gauge; and rear differential out of '67 P1800 to upgradethis driver's car to wheels disc brakes (restore to original Amazon rear difffor $300-500); Rear reflectors removed for smoother look (can be easily screwedback on, mounting bracket still there); Original grey/beige wheels paintedblack- Car was returned to original factory-ordered radio delete plate (put in radio easily if you wish, wiring there from someone having radio years ago, but restored it to original)
Body/Exterior:  Body is in great shape, all found rust repaired immediately. There's not even any rust on the door bottoms (notorious on these cars). There are few minor bubbles could be addressed around wheel well but nothing major at all. Lines are very straight, no accidents. Doors close easily, no sag. Amazing survivors body. Really nice.- New floors 10 years ago- New rubber all around windows and doors- New Left rocker replaced last year- New headlight buckets and turn signal rubber gaskets- Headlight area rust repaired last year (and headlight buckets replaced with ABS plastic reproductions,to prevent issue from returning)- Chrome on bumpers is orginal and going spotty, no rust though, just 50 years of over-zealous polishing... re-chrome or replace easily (6 bolts per bumper... these cars pleasure to work on)
Wheels&Tires: - Cars runs true with little wear on aggressive patterned tires- Wheels look great with gloss black paint- Original hubcaps restored with black paint in center around the venerable "V"
Interior: Nice original shape.- New correct 123GT Dashboard pad (beautiful)- Seat no rips, stuffing has gone soft on drivers seat- Headliner original in good shape, minor fray on few edges, but no major rips or sags- Rear seats perfect- Door panels in good shape, some normal wear

1) The Canadian Cars did NOT come with Euro-spec driving and fog lights, nor wing mounted mirrors, apologies for the mis-type above. They came with just the one on the door mine has.2) The underside is solid.  Floors solid, frame solid, rockers solid, trunk and spare wheel well solid.  Even door bottoms rock solid.  The underside is not clean, but it is solid.3) What does it need: it needs NOTHING.  It is beautiful and great driver as is, and is currently insured and plated for use.  BUT, What would do if kept it? There is truly nothing urgent, : a. Inside: (i)Re-stuff the drivers seat. (ii) Rewire the horn (new horn switch included in box o' parts supplied with the car) b. Outside: (i)Fix few minor bubbles on the paint around wheel arch cited above, (ii)re-chrome the bumpers.4) Does this car make one better man in every conceivable way?  Yes... it does.  I will be lesser without it, but must sell.  Its constant conversation starter, gets mountain of attention everywhere it goes without fail, and is pleasure to own.  Its beautiful well-balanced body design, and incredibly simple and remarkably well-made machine, and has excellent investment value.  My buy-it-now is good solid deal that leaves money on the table for all you Americans with your strong dollar against the Canadian.
Happy bidding!
