For Sale: My beautiful 1998 V70 AWD. purchased this car from retired gentlemen heading back to his home of the UK. He is the second owner of the vehicle and purchased the vehicle from Valentine Volvo in Calgary when the vehicle was just over year old. purchased the car from him on October 31st 2016 with hopes of enjoying it for years to come. However, with grueling hours at my place of business I will be unable to really enjoy this vehicle. Along with the car received recent fully documented receipts for all of the work he had completed on the vehicle. The maintenance includes regular oil changes with Mobil Synthetic. The service manual that was in the glove box contained all of the regular service and oil changes performed by Valentine Volvo. There are no leaks or mechanical issues of any kind and this car could be driven anywhere without hesitation. The vehicle has been run on premium fuel since purchased by the 2nd owner. The vehicle has always maintained and currently has all matching premium tires (currently on Michelin Premium A/R Nitrogen filled) . The AWD is flawless in this V70R, it handles as tight as new. The motor is strong and the vehicle is overall mechanically sound. The air pump was replaced in February 2016. However, the pump was purchased in the US and does not have warranty. This is causing the CEL Lambda light to be on. After research the failure of this pump has zero performance effects on the vehicle and will not result in further issues. have had the issue looked at by Valentine Volvo and was told not to replace it as it has zero effect on the cars performance or drive-ability. Upgrades to the vehicle are very small as the car was meant to remain at Stage 0. Upgrades are as follows: K/N Air Filter, IPD door lock pins, Professional 8% tint (completed in January 2017). Included in the sale will be an IPD Turbo Boost gauge (currently not installed. All in original packaging) IPD LED Dash light bulbs (currently not installed) also have few small boxes of additional bulbs and paints (matched by code) that received from the 2nd owner.
The car is listed locally and reserve the right to remove the car at any time if sold via alternate listings. There is no warranty expressed or implied during this auction.
