1912 Indian V-TwinThis very correct and authentic example of Indian's 1000ccV-Twin came out of the former AMCA President, Jack Gormley's collection wellover twenty-five years ago and was restored shortly thereafter. Prior to therestoration, this motorcycle was low mileage survivor with all original sheetmetal "with the exception of the primary chain cover" including gastank, fenders, wheel rims and oil tank. The motor has been completely rebuiltutilizing higher compression pistons for use with today's modern fuels. Thecylinders, heads and carburetor have all been refinished in electroless nickelplating, the same process used in the factory back in the day. This motorcyclewas originally painted in the blue factory color and was faithfully colormatched for the restoration process. The original Indian Motorcycle seat waspreserved and used in the restoration process as well.
