Up for auction 1942 Harley Davidson 45ci "Bobber" Originally built in the early 70's around NYC this Harley 45 has seen complete restoration leaving as many of the original parts as possible. Fresh metalflake red paint over fully molded chassis. inch extended wide springer, old school,  done with ford radius rods, Hollywood style handle bars with internal cables and wiring. Bates headlight, Cat eye dash with operating indicator (oil,charge) lights. All new cloth wiring, 12 volt conversion, new battery and generator, switches, lights, ect. New cables, new tires and tubes, new top end, new oil lines, tune up, Linkert carb over haul. New brakes, new chain. used as much of the original chrome as could and there is some pitting due to age but does not detract from the overall appearance. There are many custom touches like the one off rear fender and battery box. This motorcycle won the "Outstanding Motorcycle" award at the Buffalo Motorama in March '17. This is the biggest show in western NY. The motor starts easily and runs well. speed transmission works as designed. The jockey shift/suicide clutch is little tricky by nature and other than couple of laps around the block this bike has not been ridden since completion.
