1955 Indian Tomahawk (Royal Enfield 500 Twin) Restored to museum quality by owner. Runs beautifully. Numbers matching. All new Whitworth fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws, washers). Engine and transmission restored (including rebuilt and reground crankshaft) by Bob Kohlscheen, former classic RE owner and former head mechanic at Engle Motors, Kansas City, MO. All new bearings and bushings in engine, transmission, frame, and suspension. Lucas MagDyno and Smith’s Chronometric Speedometer rebuilt by specialists. NOS exhaust, including Burgess mufflers. All paint Glasurit, including special paint mixed to original color matched to NOS air cleaner. Original U.S. owner’s manual, parts manual, shop manual, dealer brochures, and period magazine ad. Also, many other books, manuals, and references more specifically concerned with the corresponding RE models. Many tools, spare parts, and original parts that were replaced by superior reproductions. The bike has never left Iowa and have list of all owners since new. (I happen to be both the 4thand the 8thowner.)
