I've owned this bike for over 12 years, did not buy the bike to flip but bought it for myself and with the help of, in my opinion one of the best vintage mechanics in the San Jose area. did frame up build. The 65 Pan sits in 48 chassis which gives the bike nostalgic look but with the benefit of cooler running motor with the 65 external oil lines.Pretty much went through all components of the bike. The ridged frame was sand blasted inspected and powder coated, the upper end was with attention to detail, any broken fins were repaired, and filling drilling and threading the heads were the valve covers mount usually stripped out, creating oil leaks The lower end was tight and discovering that it had been pumped up in prior build. The electrics were rewired to 12 volt with new battery generator and regulator, the speed transmission was split and all worn gears replaced to include clutches, mechanical brakes inspected. To the best of my knowledge the ridged frame, springer front end to include many but not all parts to be HD. also have clean California title in hand for Pan. was asked about oil leaks believe they all leak there is small oil leak, could be from the breather, chain oiler or could be dried up gasket its been parked for little while) Not too sure of the actual mileage after rebuild, was not paying too much attention ten years ago, have repop speedo that says 30.This was not basket case, bought the bike from long time owner who had grown ill and needed to sell. The bike was not running and was in need of attention, but it was intact. For the most part, this is cool bike, great bar hopper, turns heads and runs strong, had lot of fun with it, it was also featured in 2010 Spring issue of Riding Low Magazine. It did not come easy for me to put the Pan up for sale but work place injury forces the sale, the Ol knee just aint what it use to be. kick start only.) The bike is being sold as is, prefer cash only for the transaction, asking $15,500 OBOThanks for looking
