To be clear: honestly do not know whole lot about this bike as it was not my restoration, but its definitely classic beauty. It starts up and it runs, but may need some adjustment to get it where it should be. Keep in mind it was garage stored for 10 years before acquired it. do have video of it running and being ridden, taken on 4/28/17. Click Here to View Video
Please note the bike isn't completely stock. I'm not Harley Davidson expert, but do know that some of these parts are not off '65. It does run and you can see it being driven in the video above, but it will need some final tweaking/adjustment of the new carb etc to get this motorcycle where it needs to be to be daily driver.
What I've personally done to it:
Had tank professionally flushed and resealed.
Had the carburetor rebuilt
Had new petcock installed
Its sharp looking ride for someone who doesn't mind kick-starting an older Harley. It can be temperamental when kick-starting as many older Harley's can be. Sometimes it fires up on the second or third kick, other times you'll get work out, but think that's part of the adventure of owning classic bike that requires special type of collector or rider.
The night-time photo was when the bike was delivered to me and do still have the wind/bug shield for it.
Its definitely priced to move. If had place to store it, I'd probably hold on to it, because she's damn beaut to show off. Id much rather it go somewhere where it can be enjoyed and taken care of.
