 This is a  restored 1966 Harley Davidson 250 CRS Factory Racer Sprint. purchased it in 2012 in partially restored state. The engine and frame had been gone through and rebuilt by Lancaster Sprints specialists with the new PVL ignition and later Dellorto VHB27AS carb. was not able to confirm what cam was used (DS-2 ?)  9.5 -1 comp. Cases are from 64 Sprint C. I bought the bike in 2012. talked with Ron about it but he had built 4-5 years before and thought it to be semi race engine. (?) restored it cosmetically and replace cables clutch and brake levers and many other items to make it right did not get into the engine as it had been rebuilt by Ron. 
I assume it may not be CRS spec engine!  This is the last configuration in which it was in racing form. have since completed the restoration and have had it running   It has been kept in climate controlled collection for the past years. Previously it was entered into the 2011 "Ride Into History" Concours d' Elegance motorcycle show with an "Award of  Merit" before the final restoration was complete.There is no title as it was racing motorcycle and is not road legal. Bike has less than miles since rebuilt. This is very nice representative 1966 CRS that displays well and could be used in AHRMA or other vintage racing.
