 1968 NORTON Commando 750cc Fastback
Excellent condition. Runs rides as good as it looks.
 
This is the first iteration of the Commando Fastback with the round tank badges.

In 1970 started riding Nortons in the Ozark Mountains, and have been riding one of various models ever since. My present Norton acquired from the Norton Owners Club in Canada and imported it. have clear Arkansas title registration.

Since I've had the bike, new Amal carbs have been fitted along with new Avons, speedo cable, and fresh dark green paint (the bike came from Canada in flawless red color, but I'm not fond of riding anything painted red). The only issue is that the 4:1 ratio of the tachometer is matched to tachometer drive of 2:1 ratio, which results in the instrument reading twice the number of rpms. To compensate, have reduced the price from $10,500. All else on the machine is functional and in order as it should be.

This machine had set up for the duration, but at this point in life find that the Commando is too long, too high, and too heavy for me. If anyone has 1960-1963 standard Norton 600cc Dominator model 99 of like condition, would be happy to swap even.
