Hello! The 1968Triumph TR6 P, sometimes called the “Saint”, was made for the police force andfor that reason has different characteristics then models made for the generalpublic. It is rare model on the market – have its history on paper. It belongedto the St-Hyacinthe (province of Quebec) police force. On one of the pictures, we see police officer besidethe motorcycle when the city made its aquisition. have document attesting that the 1968 Triumph inmy possession and the motorbike on the picture are the same. asked twoprofessional mechanics specialized in the restauration of Triumph models towork on my motorcycle and rebuilt it as close as possible to the originalmodel. Many parts were reconditionedrather than replaced. The engine was entirely rebuilt, replicating the conventionalpiston-rod system, and its works perfectly. The original alternator was kept aswell as the Smiths chronometric speedometer sc. 5301/38 1656. The engine andframe serial numbers correspond --TR6P DU81418. The saddlebags are Cravenbranded and the fairing is from Avon. still have all the invoices for thereplaced parts and the work done on the motorcycle, plus extra photos -- the only new parts visible on the photos are the silencers andthe electrical wiring. also have original documents published by Triumph onmotorcycles made for the police force. Every reasonable offer will beconsidered. You can contact me by email
