Up for sale is 1969 Yamaha DT1 250. As of today (4/25/2019) this bike starts up easy, runs good, and shift through all the gears good. This was sitting for several years and was just revived into running bike. That said it will still need little work before riding. took this bike down the road short distance and it felt good, the guy got it from said he took it on 10 mile drive with no issues. It did have slight miss or studder at high RPM's so it may need slight adjustment, or maybe new points or something. It will sit and idle nicely. The headlight is not hooked up but did test the bulb and it is working on both hi and lo beams so you won't need to search to find good headlight bulb. Its missing taillight and turn signals. There is dents in the tank but nothing to bad but it does look like someone pushed dent out from the inside, couple small outward dents. The tank is pretty clean on the inside. The seat is in fair condition and the pan seems solid but the foam is breaking down, you can see some dust on the exhaust from it. There is numbers matching clear title. According to the person got it from the miles are correct he only did little bit of trail riding with it years ago. The bike spent most of its life sitting unused. The spark arrestor is still in the exhaust system. Please look over the pictures closely this is not show piece but decent vintage Yamaha Enduro. This could be good candidate for restoration or nice vintage rider.
This motorcycle is located in Shelbyville MI 49344 USA. am able to work with long distance buyers who need little extra time to arrange for pick up or shipping service. This should all be taken care of immediately after sale please. It should be picked up within 30 days after auction ending. I'm easy to work with but lets get the deal finished and it going to the new owner as soon as possible.
