1970 HONDA Z50A K1    Silvertag     3-speed automatic     Candy blue
As an avid collector of these amazing little bikes, can tell you without hesitation that this is the finest all original z50 have ever seen.  This is really saying something if you are familiar with or have seen pictures of the many z50 and ct70 that have sold through Ebay.  This one has been stored indoors for nearly 50 years.
This z50 was time locked from new in mountain cabin where it was only used couple of times!  Purchased from the original owner with the original title, this z50 was treated to complete service of the carburetor, fuel system, valve lash adjusted and oil changed with Honda brand GN4.  These bikes do not have an odometer but this bike has to have ultra low mileage.
The condition of this z50 is amazing with rust free, spotless gas tank on the inside.  The cables, levers, grips, seat, pegs, even the tires are the original Nitto units.  cannot stress enough how original and complete this bike is.  Only couple chips and flaws with no touch ups done.  Original switches and lights all work including the hi beam indicator. Nice reflectors and bases.  Perfect fenders and chainguard.  All rubber parts are really nice with logos very vivid on the foot pegs.  All the original warning stickers.  Handlebar knobs, gas cap, lenses all correct and nice.
The bike was completely gone through and tuned by my brother who holds World Records racing cars and Honda motorcycles.  He believes he is the first to ever do any work on the bike which now benefits from carburetor that is clean as whistle.
The bike runs like sewing machine.  It starts really easy, idles perfect and has excellent power.The transmission is like clock and shifts just right with no slipping.The brakes are really good with lots of meat on the original pads.Everything is adjusted, this bike is ready to ride and enjoy right now.
This bike is not perfect and has some patina as can be seen.  Originality is always prized over something that has been fully restored.  Someone told me that they are 'only original once'. I like original because you can use it for its intended purpose and enjoy it without worrying about the first scratch.  Of course, take care of all my stuff but want to use it.
