Offered for sale is this nice old 1972 Harley Super Glide. This is only the second year for the then-new FX (Factory Experimental) model, and also the last year that you could get one with the boat tail option from the factory. bought this one not too long ago with the intention of restoring it someday, but divorce has changed my plans unfortunately.This bike has been sitting for few months, but otherwise it was daily rider until last year. To get it back on the road you'd need to sort out the S&S carb and also get the rear brake working better. had planned to put an NOS Bendix carb back on it, and also to convert it back to drum rear brakes, so never did any tinkering on it. Someone obviously spent lot of time and money on this bike over the years, and it's always good to see bike that was loved not neglected. It would be very easy to keep this as daily rider and enjoy it as-is, and not fool around with restoration your call.
Over the years the bike was been converted to front and rear disk brakes, which probably makes lot of sense if you use it lot. Electric start was also added, which makes it easier to live with for lot of people too. The buyer of this bike will have first refusal on some NOS boattail parts that had accumulated for this project (I'll also be listing some XLCH boattail parts that have soon), but otherwise what you see is what you get. The engine and frame numbers match, and it comes with clear matching number title ready to put in the new owners name. Actual mileage is only an estimate, as the speedo has been swapped out for repro, and it's not working. No other known issues though.

Cash, check or bank transfer is accepted for payment. Sorry no Paypal unless it's done with the Friends Family option, so no fees on either end if coming from Paypal balance or bank account.
