:“The motorcycle is in excellent condition and has about 700 miles on it since the $13,000.00 restoration was completed in late 2017. It is beautiful and runs great but it does have scratches here and there like on end of an exhaust pipe. It has some rust on the exhaust flanges. I also chipped the paint on the front left edge of the gas tank. See the last 4 pictures which show these examples.”

This is K1 CB750 that is titled as 1972 model.  Some of the experts say the K1 models wereonly made in 1970 and 1971, but my research has convinced me that some 1972 K1 modelsexist and believe this is one of these. I am happy to pass along these details if you are interested.  About $13,000.00 has been invested to get themotorcycle in this condition.  Inaddition, spent hundreds of hours on this project, but it was labor oflove.  restore old bikes for ahobby.  new NOS speedometer wasinstalled during the restoration and it currently has less than 700 miles onit.  Mike Learn who is friend andnationally known air brush painter did the paint job.  CycleX professionally rebuilt the engine and ithas been enhanced in many ways.  Forexample, the alternator rotor was lightened and balanced.  It was bored 1mm over and fitted with highquality pistons, super flow valves, heavy duty valve springs, heavy dutycylinder studs, heavy duty rods and MLS head gasket.  Gears in the transmission were undercut.  CycleX CX1 cam coupled to heavy duty camchain and cryo treated primary chain was installed.  found the list from CycleX and it is shown below.  You cansee the engine is very special.   The bikehas high quality secondary “X-Ring” chain with new sprockets, new exhaustpipes, high end coils with electronic ignition and new seat.  In addition, new wheels, spokes, fenders, tires, handlebars and many others.   A mix of NOS and reproduction parts were usedon this project.  The manufacture date is9/71.   It is beautiful, but not perfect.  chipped the paint on the front left edgeand there are some scratches here and there like on the end of an exhaustpipe.  The exhaust flanges have some rustas it was ridden lightly for about 700 miles after the restoration in late 2017. About quart of paint was leftover and the buyer can have it.  It has been taken to one show where itwon best in class.  This bike turns heads.  have nice surprise for the person that buys this motorcycle.
----CycleX work
I believe the crankshaft was lightened and balanced but it is only listed as "balance and clean" below, so am not sure if it was lightened.  remember discussing that, but it isn't on his list.
