S&S CARB , GOOD BRAKES, SOME SCRATCHES DINGS AND DENTS RATHER DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.One chipped off front head fin but not very noticeable, the tach gets power and bounces around a little. I have a spare tach that works but left this one as it is the original one. Tires have some dry rot and may need to be eventually replaced. I have a folder of service receipts from the original owner that will be included with the bike. Original air filter and mid controls can be included with this sale upon previous arrangements. We have here is the ICONIC, very hard to find bike especially in good running condition - 1978 AMF Harley-Davidson FXS-1200 Lowrider Shovelhead. This is fairly original condition motorcycle with matching frame and motor vin numbers, still have factory vin decal on the frame. Paint in very nice condition, would rate 9.8 10. !! Bike is very tight and quite powerful for 78 Shovel. See video of it running!!
Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works. Please note this Shovelhead is not trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable older Harley that will keep on going for years to come. If you are looking for one you know best. This bike runs as good as it looks. have ridden the bike on numerous occasions and shifted all gears, It rides nice, both brakes work well, no complains. Electrical all work well including lights, brake light, horn, turn signals. The speedo is original to this bike and currently shows 48K miles on the odometer. Bike from the original owner that had it since 1978.........Bike will come with Louvered Chrome battery cover that matches the coil cover.
