You are looking at 1978 Honda CX500 that has been completely rebuilt. This bike was completely dissembled and rebuilt. The motor has been split apart and verified for wear, all motor bearings and seals have been replaced and then painted semigloss black before it was re-assembled with new gaskets. The frame, swingarm, fork clamps, wheels and hubs and major parts have been powder coated semigloss black. front end is from GSXR 750 including brakes and disks. Front hub is custom made part from Cognito. Rear laced wheel has been fitted to original hub and rear brake caliber is from GSXR 750. The rear disk is a customized Harley and the caliber bracket is custom made as is the license plate holder. The rear sub frame has been removed to clear space for the single shock with it's custom made mounts. All new wiring from front to back, all LED signals and tail lights. all electrical is managed by Motogadget M-Unit. Also from Motogadget are front bar end blinkers and handlebar controls.This bike is running good and starts on the first try as it should. Carburators have been re-jetted. rode it last september 25th on the Distinguished Gentlemen Ride in Montreal. It came in second place in the cafe racer category during the Bike And tattoo Show in April 2016. have put in lot of time and money for this built and am proud of it. have other motorcycles waiting for customization and have to let this one go.I will assist for shipping, but will not be held responsible for packaging.
