Great example of one of Honda's earliest Gold Wings

Finding one in this condition is getting very difficult especially with these miles and all the original vintage add-ons

ENGINE/ EXHAUST/ TIRESHas been updated with electronic ignition so no points to deal withNew battery, plugs, wires and oil change
Carbs were drained and bowls cleaned but NOT synchronized and that should be done because it will not idle down and has what sounds like random detonation, it cycles up and down, as most of you already know with today's gas it doesn't take long for gas to go bad and even gelling up so likely the carbs should be removed and fully cleaned.
Timing checked and each plug has strong spark
Chrome does have some pitting and blueing of the exhaust pipes
Avon front tire is brand new with no miles put on it yet

BODY/FAIRING:
The paint has good gloss and shines
Bike has some dings, scratches and pitting on the chromeVery comfy aftermarket seat is made by Drag Specialties, it's in really great shape with only tiny hole in the passenger area
Windjammer SS/Vetter fairing with am/fm 8-track player that still worksWindshield has two pop-out air vents, there is crack extending few inches from one of the vents
Bike has keys for the ignition/center console but no key to lock/unlock the hard bags& fairing pocket


Paperwork included: Original bill of sale from the Honda Dealer/first owner, Honda motorcycle set-up checklist from when it was delivered to the original owner and numerous registrations since new,
Original 1978 application for state of Maine title
the owners manual for the Windjammer SS.
Receipt from 2012 when the owner had the bike serviced, included new starter, carb overhaul kits& tune-up.
