KAWASAKI KZ1300  1979
Mostly alloriginal, 13,500 miles, 1300cc straight six-cylinder, liquid-cooled, shaftdrive. Excellent condition for its age one owner (spent its whole life garagedin Billings MT). Has lots of recent maintenance within the last year, carbclean, new NGK plugs, nology profire coils, Taylor 8mm plug wires, new battery,new EBC brake pads all around, rebuilt calipers, brakes have been flushed andrefilled with DOT4, has aftermarket master cylinder installed but still haveoriginal. Has new NOS clutch and throttle cables, new wheels bearings andseals, new fork seals and Maxima 10wt synthetic oil, new steering head bearingsand fresh grease, new Dunlop tires (maybe 100 miles on them). It has DG 6-1aftermarket exhaust installed, and have also changed the final drive oil withKawasaki 80W-90 synthetic gear oil, and installed new UNI foam air filter,and the coolant has been flushed and replaced.

Has two original Kawasaki ignition keys, has Kawasaki mud flaps still in theoriginal packaging, and the original title issued in 1981. Also has originalfactory installed chrome rear rack.

There are maybe handful of these bikes in the country that are in nice,running shape and have been kept up over the years and this was the firstyear Kawasaki made them. It starts, runs, stops, and shifts great. It's notshowroom perfect, but it's nice for 40-year-old bike no rust or corrosion,paint is very nice, engine/frame/swingarm/seat, etc. all look new. Zero rust inthe gas tank. Some brake fluid spatter on the right-side engine covers fromyears ago as you can see in pics, but not that bad. Selling due to buying land and putting up house.
