:	“I bought this five years ago as a complete custom cafe racer/street tracker. I decided to go a slightly different direction than the prior builder, but have since lost interest. It runs well and sounds great; no smoking and good oil pressure. Tires were new Dunlops five years ago and they are same ones on it now. This is an easy project to finish. New Yuasa battery (3/25/20, w/ receipt). Still needs a strap or other mounting setup to hold down the KZ1000P fuel tank (original KZ650 tank included). Fuel leak at the fuel line junction and tip of vacuum petcock lever broke off (still works, just harder to turn). Brakes work well. Wheels have been powder coated/painted and are very nice stock cast units. The period Kerker exhaust system is in good shape and sounds killer. The fuel cap on the KZ1000P tank is new and includes two keys for the locking cap. Shocks are expensive and rare NOS Konis. Many nicks and scratches; easy project bike!”

Up for auction is an easy, RUNNING, project for the right next owner (see recent video). This KZ650 was completed custom when bought it five years ago, but wanted to go in slightly different direction. have since lost interest (too many bikes, too many other projects, too many kids). Tires were new Dunlops then; they are same ones on it now, with no additional use. This week installed new Yuasa battery and fresh gas, and got it running again. It's leaking some fuel from the fuel junction, but otherwise starts, idles, revs cleanly, choke works, etc.. Lights and gauges, including oil pressure light, all work. It needs strap or other mounting setup to hold down the KZ1000P tank (stock KZ650 tank is included too). Brakes work well. Wheels have been powder coated/painted and are very nice stock cast aluminum units. installed set of expensive and rare NOS Koni 7610 shocks on this bike; they are easily $500-1000 to replace...if you can find them! The period Kerker exhaust system, also hard to find, is in good shape and sounds killer! The fuel cap on the KZ1000P tank is new and includes two keys for the locking cap. Many nicks and scratches, but perfect for an urban bomber, once completed.

Here's recent video of the bike running. am taking it off choke at the beginning. At the end, when shut it off and turn the ignition switch back on, it is just to show that the oil pressure warning light is functioning properly...
