1981 Honda CB900F Super Sport “Tokyo Nights”This is complete, ground up, modern, custom rebuild of classic motorcycle. This bike has, already, won local vintage Japanese best in class award and is ready to win many more. Recently featured on Bike Bound.  Leaving nothing but the original rebuilt engine and main frame. Most every part has been replaced with modern sport bike technology, suspension, braking with numerous custom one-off aluminum and stainless steel, hand crafted parts. Not one bolt has been over looked over and was either refurbished or replaced. This is nearly completely brand-new motorcycle. Weighing mere 400lbs, that is over 130lbs less than its original weight. The mean and throaty cylinder catches people’s attention. It's not shy to throttle up and is extremely stable in the corners.  Tokyo Nights is suited with billet triple clamps holding Showa USD forks. Triumph 675R swingarm with an Ohlins shock to which the frame was completely built around. With the removal of the rear triangle section of the frame, modified Ducati Monster subframe was called into action along with designer, Luimoto seat cover.  completely new wiring harness, using numerous, Deutsch, sealed connectors, was crafted around Moto-gadget’s m.unit blue. Dyna 2000 ignition system with Dyno coils handle the spark. CBR600RR permanent magnet rotor/stator was recruited to supply all electrical power along with lithium battery hidden underneath the seat. The cylinder head was given street porting with hand lapped valves. The crankshaft was lightened and balanced by the team at APE Racing in Rosamond Ca.  R6 starter sprag conversion was also completed. The oil pick-up was enlarged 20% as well. New Forseti racing Camshaft chains were installed. The exhaust expels through Delkevic to header with Yoshimura RS3 Titanium muffler to add the di regueur tone. Carburetors are retro fitted Mikuni RS34’s with OE intakes, of course the Mikuni's have been completely gone through, rebuilt, re-jetted, and synchronized.So many different small and unique details surround this bike, but here are some of the most important features; 1990's CB400F fuel tank was grafted on running AN6 line, conectors and Dry-break QD. Head light bracket, front fender brackets and muffler bracket, sprocket cover are handmade,  one-offs.  All engine cover bolts are stainless with being hand turned, tapered heads. Majority of all other fasteners are compromised of titanium to help keep the wet weight down. Aprilia/Brembo wheels with EBC rotors are shod with new Continental tires. The clip-ons are completely adjustable as well. The latest Brembo Corsa Corta RCS19 front master cylinder with calipers from ZX-14R handle the stopping chores, literally one -finger. matching clutch perch was also acquired.  New oil cooler with 8AN hose and fittings. 3/8 offset sprocket, RK X-ring 525 chain and 40-tooth sprocket round out the drive system. Extras include, fully adjustable billet rear sets, Rizoma grips, reservoirs and turn signals.This is truly magnificent piece of work.
