1981 KAWASAKI CSR 1000.  I’m third owner. purchased the bike in 2004.  It was prepped for storage when deployed to Iraq in 2011.  It was prepped by the Missoula Montana Kawasaki dealer.  It has been in storage since then as sustained some injuries which limit my ability to safely ride this bike.  It is time to move this fun muscular classic bike on. It has 28057 miles.  After conversation with Kawasaki dealer it would need all fluids and filters changed, brake fluid changed and bled and new battery.  It also would need the carburetors (it has 4) synced, vacuum and fuel lines replaced.  It may need some gaskets replaced and chain cleaning and tensioning.  It also needs some TLC to get the shine back on the chrome, paint is in good shape.  I have both owners and service manuals.  Bottom line it’s classic early 1980’s KZ 1000 with extra chrome.  If you like old school bikes that you can do your own work on you will love this bike.
