Motor has new head gaskets, spacers, and base gaskets. New shifter sprocket. Tires have another season easily. Motor is all original stock 80 cubic inch evolution, with the stock cv carb. Around 55 horse power and around 60 pounds of torque. It burns no oil, and leaks very small amount. Only few drops week. borrowed trailer and hitch from friend, and went for 2300 mile trip. It had no problem pulling it, sometimes at 80 mph for an extended time. Has good oiler cooler. Handles high air temperatures well. Lower air fairings and back rest make for comfortable ride. Paint is good. would rate it out of 10. Stereo not working. mounted an amplifier in the tour pac, and put new Pioneer speakers in the fairing. It sounded great for about year. One day it just would not eject cassette tape . Then about month later the radio started acting up. The amp could not take the vibration, it was toast. The radio will work with some simple rewiring. It sounds great when it plays. bought it in 2005, and have done regular maintenance. It is due for an oil change. New plugs already in. few extra chrome pieces here and there. Turn signal have short, sometimes the right one does not work unless you rev it up bit. One of the lights on the trim bar around the bags has bad socket. bought it in 2005 for my wife and to tour around. We did just that. She had knee replacement awhile back and does not ride anymore. have other bikes that like better when riding alone. It has been great bike, and has never left me stranded. It is very dependable Harley. have three other bikes, each one has different use and setup. This one was the touring bike not the run with the boys bike. It has always been used with that purpose in mind. Never wrecked or ran to its limit. am 61 years old and been riding motorcycles since was 14. don't beat bike that is not built for it.
