For sale is 1996 Honda CBR 900 RR. This bike has undergone an extensive rebuild including the following:Engine/Transmission: Bottom end was disassembled and transmission rebuilt using all NOS Honda parts. NOS 2nd gear and corresponding 6th gear. Transmission/clutch engages perfectly. NOS front/rear sprockets, new chain, new wheel bearings. It has tremendous amount of power and pulls straight, with consistent power at any RPM. NOS engine side covers, gaskets, seals, O-rings. This engine, as with the entire bike, was rebuilt to Honda spec. Exhaust: Brothers Exhaust system. The chrome is in good shape, but this is used muffler. Body: Aftermarket fairing kit with tank painted to match. NOS Stanley headlight, aftermarket turn signals, new clear windscreen. Please see detailed pictures. Nothing was overlooked on the body.Carbs: Meticulously cleaned and rebuilt using all NOS rebuild kits. Carbs were synced. Acceleration is smooth through the power range. No backfire, sputter, etc. Requires choke when cold, consistent idle when warm. Brakes: Disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with NOS brake parts. Front discs measure 3.5 mm as new and are flat. pistons on each of the front calipers respond as you would hope for bike this powerful. Brake lines were cleaned and master cylinder was rebuilt. The same rebuild was given to the rear brake. New brake pads all around. Tires: Avon 3D Ultra tires front and rear, professionally mounted and balanced.All documentation and receipts come with the bike.
