I’m thesecond owner of this absolutely stunning 1997 FLSTS.  The most unique part of this background isthe custom factory paint that the owner was able to obtain.  The first owner was high ranking executivewith national cosmetics company.  Heknew the CEO of HD at the time he purchased the stock bike.  He contacted them to do custom paint schemethat he knew he wanted.  They declinedinitially but decided to pull one guy off of the line to do the painting.  HD must have liked the color scheme so muchthat they did sell some of the same color tins in 1998 as special order limitededition ones.  These tins are not that,they were custom painted for the original owner.  He also sent the seat and front bag out toCalifornia to have the trim matched to the paint color.  There are no side bags with this bike.Once he gotthe bike back he spent about $7K redoing the engine and other items on thebike.  Features Mikuni carb that wasdynode (paperwork included).  The bikehas only 4,696 original miles on it and it’s absolutely beautiful.Otherfeatures:Lots oforiginal HD nostalgia chrome piecesSamsonfishtail exhaustsFront andrear fender tips (original HD authentic)Solo luggagerack and docking kit (original HD authentic)HD toolboxHD mini tachTwistedspokesLike newtires by HD (white wall engraved)All originalpaperwork and service recordsThis isn’tan inexpensive bike and it’s only for the true collector who can appreciate itsbeauty and uniqueness.  Please email mevia ebay with any questions you may have.
