Here is very special motorcycle, this is 1998 Harley Softail with Harley title Insurability, that's been heavily modified to styling similar to Panhead of the late 1940's.  There are countless modifications that have been performed to this bike to make this significant transition, including lot of expense.  This is significantly more expensive to build in just the bike and parts than I'm asking for it, especially since I'm not including my labor, this bike an awesome deal.
The objective with this build was to have Panhead old school looking bike, with speed transmission and EVO reliability and performance to hang with my buddies on their touring bikes comfortably (75 mph freeway) at various bike week events and local rides.  To stop having puddles in my garage or non-starting bike, or being stopped on the road side while my buddies waited for me.  wanted all the old school looks with none of the hassles or drama.  started with mint 1998 Softail Springer with 4K miles on it, the basic bike under this build is gem.
The bike has custom $650 leather seat identical to the old bikes of the day, and matching saddlebags.  The sound of the Paughco fishtail exhaust with the ride comfort of full softail including Works suspension and Paughco Hollywood handlebars makes the ride experience incredible, plus don't have any oil mark stripes on my driveway.  The bars and seat position give nice open leg stretched riding position and the Hollywood bars give you the old school looking position going down the road.
The bike draws significant attention with thumbs up everywhere even in Daytona where hardly anything gets attention unless its crazy (pics attached).  I've attached pic showing bonafide crowds standing around the bike checking it out.  I've had old timers that owned Pans stop me to check this bike out initially thinking is was genuine, Photographers ask to take photo's, cars going into the shoulder to catch up to me at backed up traffic lights, etc..... Be prepared to take longer to get anywhere if your willing to be polite to people interested in your bike. have been going to bike weeks for decades and have never had the attention from any of my customs as this bike.
The engine is one of the smoothest Evo's have owned as you can see it idling in the driveway video, with the speed Baker transmission it glides down the road like new style bike.  Controls are all custom and it has functional tank shifter tied to the traditional foot shift lever.  It will shift with the foot lever or the hand lever.  This bike goes wiggle free straight over road grooves unlike my old Shovel bobber, since it has the Pirelli Route 66 130 tires front and rear.  They look old but ride great and handle great.
The color is modern interpretation on Azure Blue and it is incredible in the sunlight, getting complements everywhere.  Nearly every single thing on this bike has been touched or modified to get the complete look you see.  love the bike but have too many at the moment and it's time to thin out the heard bit, plus I'm just finishing another one similar to this one very soon.
I apologize the bike is dusty from winter storage since it's 30 degrees out ..... too cold for wash but it runs great even at this temp.  Let me know if you have any questions and check out the video!  Thanks for looking Mike
