This 2001BMW K1200RS (not ABS) motorcycle has 36,156 original miles. Comes with original BMW hardcase saddle bags (see photo for left side damage) Operators Guide Book, aftermarket Corbin seat,Corbin passenger seat back, TomTom Rider2 GPS w/mount, front rear LED drivinglights, protective headlight cover, quick exterior mounted connection for battery tender, and Battery Tender charging unit. Was masterfully rebuilt after anaccident approximately years ago that caused the insurance company to declareit total. So, it has salvage title but runs beautifully. Metzeler tires front and rear are like new with less than 1000 miles on them. Wasprofessionally inspected in July 2016 with only an oil change required. Isalways store in the garage and connected to battery tender when not beingdriven. Shows normal signs of age, wear, tear where you would expect. Right side fairing has ascrape (see photo) on the checker board pattern just in front of the black horizontal sidevents. will try to answer any questions as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.
Answers to Previous Questions:

Yes, plates andinspection are up to date. But, upon purchase the new owner you will have toregister the bike under their name which will require new plates. will go toa notary public down the street (with new owner) and have the sale notarized. The bike is fuel injected. No leaks. Last time road it drove 150 milesround trip and everything worked as expected. Also last professional inspectionrevealed nothing wrong with the bike.Hi, wasn't the ownerbut it belonged to friend of mine at work who got transferred and needed themoney. So, without hesitation bought it knowing it's history. If hadn'tknown him wouldn't have bought it. It was all mostly cosmetic damage. Manyexternal items on the left side of the bike were badly scrapped, damaged orripped up and he replaced everything after buying it back from the insurancecompany. The furthest in the damage went was to the surface of the left sideengine cover. If the left side Saddle bag had not been on It probably been muchworse and he wouldn't have bothered to buy it back and give it second life. When boughtthe bike from Brian (my friend/co-worker) he told me the accident was as simpleas he laid it down on it's left side and slid an undetermined distance. Beforehe put the bike back together with all the new or replacement parts he stripedit down to point where it could be determined if there was anything wrongwith the front end or frame. He said everything was still within OEM specs. Itook his word for it and never regretted buying the bike. When ride the bikethere isn't hint of problem and you can't tell that it was even in anaccident. It's nothing but smooth ride. All thelights and gauges work as they should.
I'm 6'2" and 53 years old and wouldn't have bought the bike if it hadbeen café racer style seating position because have three fused vertebra(not related to any motorcycle accident). bought it from my co-worker becauseit was Sport Touring bike and was built for tall person. It's definitely anupright seating position compared to café racers. went on 150 mile ride oneday and at the end of the day had no aches or pains; just wonderful feelingof exhilaration. Although, did realize afterwards that needed to buy newset of padded summer gloves. If your mentioning of "two up" refers toa passenger, can't answer that question because unfortunately my wife refusesto get on it even though the seat back should make her feel cradled between itand myself. But to answer your main question, yes believe this bike will workfor you as it has for me. Please let me know if you have any further questions.I have never used theHard Shell Saddle Bags since bought the bike. I removed them immediately and stored them on shelf in the garage exceptfor when took the pictures.  preferthe look of the bike without them.  can not positively say that both saddle bags are air/water tight.
Thank you for your interest. If you dodecide to buy the bike I'd prefer that when you come to get it that you have acashier's check or money order for the remaining balance. I'd prefer to keep myPayPal fees to minimum.
