This rare 996 SPS is number 1625. It comes with an ON-ROAD Ohio title! I am the second owner. know the original owner who lives less than an hour away from me in North Canton. He bought the bike brand-new for his personal collection. He was motorcycle dealer who has now retired and decided to thin his collection. was able to pry it away from him, but it wasn't cheap. There are tons of carbon fiber items he added to this bike. It also has Ducati factory race team set of billet magnesium triple clamps that are worth $1,500 installed to preserve the irreplaceable numbered triple clamps in new condition. But the coolest thing about this homologation model is the fact that you can ride it on the road. This bike has never been raced. The original owner installed the turn signal switch, but did not install the actual turn signals or horn. All the parts to make the bike street legal are still new in boxes, and were ordered directly from Ducati. My friend even has the side of the crate the bike was shipped to him in because he put it together himself at his dealership. I have all the original parts that were replaced with carbon fiber pieces in huge tote including the numbered triple clamp. I am also including both original exhaust systems. This bike has had belts changed and services done. This bike is gorgeous. See pics. I just took it for ride today July 24, 2016 and it runs perfectly. The only reason am selling it is because I am 54 years old and I'm not comfortable on the bike. just like to drive around town and show it off. But my other bikes are easier to ride at my age. Anybody who has ridden one of these knows what mean. Feel free to contact me with questions. am willing to put you in touch with the original owner if you have questions regarding the provenance of this bike.
