It was custom converted for me to replicate vintage Indian Chief. It was done as true to detail as possible, with many original Indian parts added. SEE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. 2001 Drifter was used because original Indians had chain drives, not belts or driveshafts. Custom lacquered paint as close to 1953 Indian yellow as possible. Added an original leather CHUMMY SEAT, with chrome and fringe. This replica has fully functioning side shift added with original Indian shifter knob. You can still use the foot shifter or you can really enjoy shifting with the side shift. People look on with amazement when they see you cruising along using the side shift to change gears. Lots of fun. Has Indian replica saddle bags with studs fringe, seat back bag, leather tank bra, with old original Indian emblem. Original Indian horn was added, lighted Indian head front fender light, Indian logo floorboards. Chromed Crash bars, bike never laid down. Good condition white sidewall tires mounted on chromes spoked wheels. Added chromed staggered fishtail exhaust pipes for that retro look, very loud and pleasant rumble sound to them. You have the look of vintage Indian cruiser with reliability. I’ve never had one bit of trouble, nor any failure of any type. This is perfect size bike for around town or highway cruising. very nice ride with plenty of power. I recently spent $800 on new battery, brakes, carburetor reworked, fuel tank drained and cleaned, new cables hoses.Bike was totally detailed, waxed, paint protection, all leather reconditioned, chrome and glass windshield polished, spokes cleaned etc. All work done by master bike mechanic. Bike was always kept in climate controlled garage, it only spent nights outside at bike rally. It was only in rain on brief encounters. Well cared for is an understatement. Local pick up is preferred, shipping to your destination is to be arranged by the buyer. ***a $500 non-refundable deposit is required.
