This bike has been registered and insured in both Canada and the USA The FLTR Road Glide features frame-mounted fairing that reduces weight on the fork as well as the handlebars and retains the distinctive style of Harley-Davidson touring model. New for 08 you will find the black-and-chrome 96??? engine as well as the new H-D Brembo brakes which offer consistent braking and stopping power under all operating conditions. This particular example has been tastefully customized with Mad Wheels Christopoly 26??? chrome front wheel with matching 13??? rotor. The conversion was done right with the welded in HHI degree neck kit and degree trees which retain the stock ride with the 26??? front wheel. The front rim is really set off by chrome legs and sliders up front as well almost every imaginable Kuryakyn chrome cover available. The 96??? engine has been built up to 103??? 2585 miles ago with big bore kit and also has an Andrews 37 cam. The engine was just completely gone through during which time it received the new cam, new cam plate, oil pump, lifters and the bearings were all upgraded to Timken. You will also notice it now sports set of Cyclesmiths chrome banana boards for the driver and passenger with matching shifter peg and brake pedal as well as Arlen Ness hand controls (no cruise control) and Danny Gray seat. The end result is a incredible big wheeled bagger reliable enough to ride anywhere. You will be hard pressed to find 26??? Road Glide with all of these upgrades for this low price.
