Grip One S3 power management system       GRIPONE S3 is the fourth generation of control units that works as traction control, anti wheelie, launch control, pit limiter  and quick shifter. It represents the new reference for all systems of traction control "stand alone", thanks to the tecnology called 3D-Intelligence. 3D-Intelligence is an innovative system of calculation based on the mathematical model of the vehicle and its dynamics. Thanks to an inertial platform (IMU) GRIPONE S3 can understand the position, speed and acceleration of the bike in the space and instantly calculate the level of "skidding safe" beyond which the rider can not go. The user sets the desired "average" sensitivity, but the system is able to increase the sensitivity (and the safety) in case of critical situations. In the same way, the system is able to improve acceleration (reducing the power control) when conditions permit. You don't need anymore to find compromise between safety and speed, with GRIPONE S3 you can get both at same time.

Overall average air fuel ratios also tend to richen up by about .5 to point as well allowing the user an inexpensive option to 'bump up' the richness of their fuel delivery if the cost of Powercommander is not currently an option for them. How do they work? It's actually quite simple. The stock ECU is set to lean out the fuel delivery to very lean 14.7 air fuel ratio (AFR) under 5500 RPM and 20% throttle. Once the engine has reached sufficient warm up the ECU 'listens' to the stock narrow band O2 sensors and looks for particular signal to keep the bike in that lean condition. This causes heat issues from extremely hot header pipes, makes the motorcycle jerky at low RPMs and reduces power.
