AN ICONIC AMERICAN LEGEND FROM THE ERA WHEN HARLEY BEGAN TO LEAVE THE REST OF THE COMPETITION IN THE DUST. READ THAT AS UNMATCHED  QUALITY AND INTEGRITY.  HAVE OWNED THIS HISTORIC JEWEL SINCE 1984. am the third owner since it left the factory when new. Sold new in Hamilton Ontario at  a  dealership called The Strand" The first owner sadly never returned from WW1. His remaining brothers held onto the bike until the 1960’s when  as understand it they traded it for circa 1932 Chrysler and $500. The engine was carefully rebuilt in the 1970’s by the second ownera prominent  antique American bike collector  at that time and tool and die journeyman who wisely did not mess with the original patina. The bike runs strongly have posted videos on youtube which will attest to this. used to take this bike to many AMCA meets where it invariably won every imaginable award. only had it judged once where it took 99 points, one half point for the wrong colour of acetylene tubing have the correct colour tubing now!) and half point for the wrong rear stand clip have since discovered the judge was WRONG about this after foolishly changing the clip. never had it judged again can provide as many detail photos as required. The bike is extremely interesting in that it has almost every conceivable period option Original Firestone “Non Skid” tires in excellent condition. Tank top tool box with set of original tools, tire pump, acetylene lighting front and back. The front light equipped with flint “starter” Rare clip on foot boards and foot control. This option is correct but one added over the years. Rare “tandem attachment” with handlebars original to this bike. Period correct crankcase sight glass. Correct fuel gauge. Speedometer cable and drive although the main drive gear is not there. Period correct horn. Last items not on the bike. Original parts book and manual both in excellent shape. The engine has all matching numbers crankcases and cylinders) and even at this early date Harley stamped each side of the crankcase with matching numbers. now  commonly called “belly numbers”)  The focus of my collection has changed to later bikes .Price is now  $200,000 Canadian Sorry, but that is as low as it is going to go recently attended the AMCA Oley meet and spoke with friends who have sold similar early Harleys for considerably more than what am asking   Full partial exchange?  I like pre war full classic autos or?  The Canadian dollar is low right now. know the asking price may seem high to most but the last time checked similar restored pre WW1 Harleys are fetching these amounts and  more and maintain original is always preferable to restored . There is small quantity of spares that go with the bike. Checkout the videos have on youtube of this bike at my channel which is 1929broughThe bike has also been featured in an issue of The Classic Motorcycle Magazine. PLEASE IGNORE EBAY'S SHIPPING INFO. WILL CRATE AND SHIP THIS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. THIS BIKE IS AN IMPORTANT SURVIVOR, MAKE IT YOURS !

A sale within Canada will be subject to the appropriate taxes.Importation to the USA should be 100% tax and duty free since this bike falls under  the "repatriation of American made goods" rule. The bike has clear title in my name.
