Kawasaki H1A. Restored to the point of being rideable. Engine recently restored with new Wiseco pistons and rings, rebuilt crank, new Lakeland electronic ignition, cleaned out carbs etc. Runs well enough that it passed safety. Front end is not original it's from later KH500 with disc brake, which might be an upgrade but is still kind of crap compared to more modern bikes. Ignition switch is in non-original location. No standard air box it has K&N pod filters fitted. Centre stand seems to be wrong type. The exhaust is not great: it has some rust holes. Front wheel is little out of round. Seat pan is corroded and not as strong as it should be. Chrome is blistered. Engine paint is poor. Frame painted blue (not original) and there is paint damage on the headlight support due to leak from an old brake master cylinder (now replaced). Battery band is missing, using bungee cord instead. No tool kit. But everything works well enough to ride it. The bike is registered in Ontario and was legally used on the road years ago. There are no indicators, and it looks like they were never fitted, but there is switch for them and some wiring (indicators were optional in 1971). Speedo is in miles/hour, and nobody knows if the mileage is right. Comes with: Haynes manual and Kawasaki original engine service manual. keys. Box of parts, some of which might be useful. This includes some rear footpegs which never bothered to attach.
