Phase Running and Driving Peugeot 309 gti barn find 
This is very original unmolested example that is in need of some minor restoration
These cars are very rare now especially being phase 1, these are getting more and more valuable with mint examples going for 10k. This car is definitely worth spending bit of time and money on. 
There are no signs of accident damage, boot floor is perfectly straight and solid
The car is complete apart from the glovebox lid and radio, you can buy both of these on eBay. 
It starts and stops on the key and runs really sweet, The cambelt is obviously very overdue so no test drives I’m afraid. 
The clutch and gearbox all seems good, it goes into gear easily and I’ve driven it forwards and back
The brakes do work and aren’t seized on but will obviously need servicing before going on the road. 
The interior is really good, there’s no rips or damage just needs bit of clean to remove the cobwebs
The doors and boot all open, close and lock off the key. The central locking and electric windows work. All the locks work off one one key and there’s also spare. Even the boot struts work. 
The wheels are in really good condition and are matching “smr” set
The only negative point can see is that it needs some welding. Nowhere near as bad as most classics but there’s few areas. The worst area is the drivers side rear sill, there is smaller area on the passenger rear sill, drivers side front sill and the inner wing behind the strut top. think the drivers wing is not worth trying to repair but have genuine new old stock genuine Peugeot wing to replace it. I've looked over it and added pictures of anywhere can see it needs welding. 
Most of the paintwork is good, there’s lacquer peel on the bonnet but most of the car would look really good with polish. haven’t washed, valeted, polished or done anything to the car to make it look better than it is. I’ve tried to show the car in an honest way 
I have full v5 for it in my name. 
Viewing is welcome, car will need to be collected within week, cash or bank transfer is fine but funds will need to clear before it’s taken. 
It will obviously need to be trailered away, can give you details of someone local that can deliver it nationwide. 
It’s sold as seen, I’ve tried to be very honest with the description and pictures 
I’ll be heartbroken to see it go but need the money for house renovations
