1996 "P" BMW E36 328i SE speedmanual in metallic silver - NO RESERVE!!First registered on the 8thof October 1996.Full MOT until the end of May 2017.This has the fantastic BMW 2.8litre straight-six engine - silky smooth and pulls like train, but canstill deliver 36 mpg on runthanks to the speed manual transmission. 149,227 miles, which may increase by up to 150 miles by the end of theauction. Less than 4,000 miles in thelast five years, so well below average for the age and should be goodfor the same again - uses virtually no oil between changes.I??™ve owned the car for the lastthree years, and I??™ll be sad to see it go, but it??™s now surplus torequirements - bought it with the intention of strippingit out and turning it into trackday car, but in the end couldn??™t bring myselfto do it, deciding it was far too good to start ripping apart, and I??™d ratherit went to another car enthusiast to keep it on the road for many more years tocome!! UnfortunatelyI??™d already started track car preparation by removing the boot carpet and acouple of other bits of boot interior trim, so these are now missing, althoughstill readily available for replacement.The full black leather interioris in very good condition, as is the rest of the interior trim - asfar as can tell the car has never been smoked in.The engine bay and underside ofthe car are also very clean and tidy - no fluid leaks, and has neverbeen welded.No service history, but largefile of bills, receipts, old MOT??™s, etc. ENGINECompletely standard, apart fromthe addition of K&N air filter, which gives lovely induction roar under acceleration, but without being too intrusive under normal drivingconditions.New radiator, water pump andthermostat.Coolant renewed.AC Schnitzer exhaust TRANSMISSIONNew complete clutch kit - pressure plate, friction disc and release bearing. SAFETY EQUIPMENTABS brakes.Driver??™s airbag.Three rear seatbelts.Front and rear head restraints.Factory tinted glass.Front fog lamps. BRAKESNew drilled and grooved brakediscs all round, with new EBC Red Stuff pads.Brake fluid renewed. WHEELS, TYRES AND SUSPENSIONAC Schnitzer 18??? alloys.Slightly lowered and stiffenedsuspension all round giving superb road holding without compromising comfort.New front suspension wishbonesboth sides with upgraded bushes and balljoints. BODYAC Schnitzer bonnet and bootbadges.Angel-eye headlamps. INTERIOR AND ELECTRICALCentral locking with two keys.Electric windows x4Electric sunroof.Electric adjustable and heateddoor mirrors.Electric headlamp beamadjustment.Height adjustable steeringwheel.Auto-dimming rear view mirror.Two map lights.Onboard computer.All pixels in the dashboard andonboard computer displays are still intact.Heated rear window elements allworking. BAD POINTS:-Has the usual array of stonechips on the bonnet, and front bumper spoiler.A few minor chips and blemisheshere and there (but no dents), and these are all surface scabs, not rottingfrom underneath. Also crack in thepaint on the lip of the driver??™s side front wheel arch, which can be seen inthe photo.Advisory on the MOT - lightoil misting on the nearside front shock absorber, so this will probably needreplacing at some point.Wheels could do with refurbishing,and not huge mileage left in the tyres, although not mentioned on the MOT.Boot carpet and couple of otherbits of boot trim missing as previously mentioned.The traction control light ison most of the time (meaning traction control is turned off) - never bothered me as it??™s far more entertaining to drive without it!!No radio fitted at the moment,but all wiring is present, and all six speakers work.
