Vehicle specifics1997 VAUXHALL ASTRA 1.7 TURBODIESEL ESTATE MANUAL (ISUZU ENGINE)MOT EXPIRY: 25/07/2017OverviewNice condition old dependable estate, would suit local tradesman or family on budget well.Lovely exterior condition, very nicely kept with no visible corrosion, or damage to speak of at all! The interior is generally good condition, but the drivers seat has worn excessively on the side bolster, the previous owner attempted to rectify this by stitching seat covers and cushions into the seat. have now removed these and the seats underneath are ok (could do with good clean) with the exception of the bolster (pictured) Mechanically the car is sound, this car has been maintained well. The clutch will slip if you try and make racing gearchanges, and it's engagement is higher than normal. but in normal driving situations it holds fine. Not entirely sure how the customer managed this, as it was fitted as new clutch 25k miles ago. (pictured bill)History from new to now available, but not complete, most of the 2000's are missing. More recently the car has had new clutch in 2010 @70k, new cambelt and head rebuild in 2013.
