 2001 51 BMW 530d sport auto

* Black on black (this was rare combo, it took me ages to find one, far too many have grey or beige interiors….yuk).

* It’s 2001 model so it has all the facelift kit, newer steering wheel, genuine sport M5 bumpers, sport trim plates, the last of the hand finished series.


The car has the optional original BMW 18 inch parallel alloys, which are very rare, with good tyres fronts are continentals with about 3-4mm and the rears are good years with approx. 5mm. (these wheels alone are worth lot!). Bare in mind wheels are used with some curbing but no buckles or dents.


The spec is as follows, it is entirely original apart from the kenwood system. rrp £950

I have lot of service history for it. In my ownership it has been serviced in 2013, then in 2014 it had new turbo along with service, and again in 2015,I performed an oil and filter change RECENTLY AND subframe bushes and control arm with drop links. have full folders and BMW handbooks stored away.


I have removed the swirl flaps to preserve the engine (common fault) and fitted new style vortex breather to improve reliability in the engine, the engine itself is perfect, runs quiet and pulls like train.


Performance GMBH Non Res Exhaust system Manifold DECAT 2"75inch Straight Through Exhaust complete to Catback with 2.5" Twin Tail Pipe Rounded Exhaust (eg Scorpion Style but better in my eyes)

Stage Remap with Egr Deleted and Swirl flap mod by-pass Remapped Aggresive Map 220-230Bhp Vpower Diesel Shell always recommended -


Exhaust sound note is amazing sounds more like the e60 535d and the screaming noise it makes its just immense so you have to sit in it to believe its power and the noise in self.

Good brakes all round, rears were done (new pads), and It was fitted before September 2015.


I have repaired the known common faults with bushes and control arms and also those tempremental small adjustment to make it complete perfect e39 530d.

As it’s been my daily car, looks great when clean and lugs around people happily. On recent trip over to Ireland it returned 43mpg. There aren’t many of these in this spec around, and it’s nice that it’s the best of line 2001 models and fault free engine during those 2001 to 2002 51 models.

Aside from minor wear and tear there is some of the usual rust associated with these cars. (tailgate doors etc minor rust)

Faults free.

I recommend the car is driven away hundreds of miles, short journey should be ok or long and we are able to show you this in person so you can clearly test its performance as well as handling and suspension etc also you can use the features and see everything is sound

Car starts and drives fine in cold or hot and doesnt have any issues which are prone and always warmed and cooled down being turbo car and also diesel needs warming up longer and im specialist in these e39 so do get down and dirty if anything needs just another look at. its my pride and joy so have to make sure its spotless and mechanically free without fault as drive this as my own personal vehicle and do the regular school runs and weekend trips away.

PDC is temperamental. (parking sensors front+ rear)

brake pads are low on front wheels so it shows traction control light and brake pad light on dashboard, simply replace pads and sensors to remove dash light.


Bodywork:

Paintwork is 8/10 as its been detailed over my ownership and looks orignal from new, no paint or no respray just orignal bmw coachwork it was detailed over last summer and it cost whopping £300 quid to do outside so its was on discount basis as friend opened his new detailing company and previous owner was luckily the person to have my car done by his team of professional car body analyst.


There is some minor stone chips at the front but very faint and hardly noticeable but just being honest and there small x2 ding on door passenger, hardly noticeable. There are some wear and tear marks around the car as it is 15 years old. (please see photos)

The colour is Carbon black and looks similar to schwartz black very nice and unique with the combo black on black, it would really benefit from car wash which do every weekend so if you pickup on the weekend its gets whopping clean for you as new owner :)


The car is located in forest gate, East London, would get an insurance quote first as it’s high group being an sport auto.


Car has MOT until october 2017, and will be in warm garage from december 16, although with the regulations the buyer must sort his own tax as will claim this back.


It is great car and whoever buys it will get bargain, it will need some minor touches like maybe few touch ups or remove few scratches and make perfect car and its off unique stance car, hence the low start price. Sale price will be final, am not allowing further tyre kicking and negotiation. have described it as honestly as possible so there will be no surprises
