The car has mot until 25th November 2016, the last having advisories (nearside front wheel bearing noisy) this has been replaced by myself and Anti Roll bar bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (please note this has not been changed)
The car currently shows 165082 miles on the clock, body work in good condition for year, there is dent on drivers door and slight crease on rear passenger quarter (small bit of rust and mean small), the front and rear arches are in excellent condition with no rust (common problem). Noticeable dent in boot lid. Front bumper has some pain that has peeled off, hasn't bothered me too much. Please expect some marks on the car for mileage and year. Lovely car for summer and lovely car to drive.
Part Service history from dealership up until 98421 miles comes with book and manual in wallet for the car, have receipts for the parts that have bought and replaced as detailed below. Old MOT certificates.
I will also include BMW software for your computer including the cable(this gives you access to the BMW INPA system, sss progman, NCS expert etc)
Interior is in good condition with very minor wear to driver bolster, the rear cards have indents and scratches obviously from people getting out. The interior is in good condition for the age and mileage but please do expect wear.
Spec as follows:- Angel Eyes (as seen in picture) BMW must have- Sought after sport 17 inch double 68 spoke staggered alloy wheels (similar to e36 m3) these are quite hard to find and fetch good money!! There are kerb marks so if you are particular they could do with refurb. All tyres are in good condition with good tread.- Heated electric mirrors passenger side moves down when you put car in reverse)- Fully electric hood and windows in excellent condition, no tears or splits.- Alarm and immobilizer with tile alarm sensor and interior movement detector- Self dimming mirrors( auto dim when light hits them so you don't get blinded)- Fully leather interior with heated front seats (very toasty) including driver memory and 10 way adjustable seats. In good condition, slight wear to drivers seat but nothing major.- Multi functional steering wheel including cruise control- ASC (Traction Control)- Air conditioning (nice and cold)- Rear parking sensors- Central locking with boot release- Trip computer and adjustable steering column- Rollover protection system- Powerflow exhaust which sounds lovely, not to loud but nice throaty sound when you want it, with little pop and bang.- Check control (tells you when bulb needs replacing etc)- Brake pad and handbrake shoe monitoring system
Alot of money and time has been spent in recent months including the following work :-
- Complete CCV valve replacement including pipes (common N42 problem) the work was done by myself and my dad, have the purchase receipt of the parts.- Front near side front wheel bearing replaced.- Powerflow exhaust system fitted which looks and sounds better than the original (has nice pop to it)- Timing Chain Tensioner replaced with the uprated part (slightly longer, common issue with the N42 was that the tensioner was to short), have the purchase receipt to prove.- Changed rocker cover gasket when we did the CCV valve- Vanos solenoid seals replaced when we did the CCV valve.- New rear discs and brake pads - All wheels have been balanced and tracked- Full braking system replacement done in 2011
Bad points:-Being honest about the vehicle the engine management light was on but has been taken off (took into where work and they removed it!!!!) The codes showing were P01159 and PO0491 which indicates air pump error/MAF sensor, please do not be surprised if the EGM light comes back on when the car has been run for while as the ecu needs to re-learn. You have to put few revs on to get the car going from 1st gear,Slight oil leak, believe this may be coming from the vacuum pump seal, have the seals just not had the time to replace them.
I have moved house so the logbook is with the DVLA,i am hoping it is back in time before the auction ends, however, if not will sign and forward to the new owner when receive it.
The Airbag light is showing, however, this has only been showing since it went into BMW under recall to have the passenger airbag replaced, apparently something to do with the passenger seat pad.
The handbrake light is showing as the rear handbrake shoes will need replacing.
