Here for sale is my 2002 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI Speed that am selling as Spares or Repair due to an engine noise that is undiagnosed.
This is the 140bhp red badge 6speed model with loads of toys. In all the car is solid gear box feels good and all electrics but the passengers side window and heated seats work fine.
Climate control works well and air con is ice cold.
The problem is this noise under the bonnet, have been told by garages it could be one of things but there not sure. Could be the viscose fan in the way out to it could be the cam belt and pulley on the way out both of which require the front end of the car to come off. don't have the time or the money to look into it but before this noise the car was spot on so its sad to say good bye.
For person who is good on the wrenches you could get it sorted for less then 100 pounds in parts so would make good value run about. Its all so got new tyres on the rear worth £150 !
